The Technical College System of Georgia is a unified system of technical education, custom business and industry training, and adult education programs. Our programs use the best available technology and offer easy access to lifelong learning for all Georgians. The system goal is to be an integeral part of a seamless education process for Georgia in which students can transfer credits efficiently as they advance from secondary schools to technical colleges and to the university system. The TCSG promises its students a guaranteed education.
The TCSG is moving from quarters to semesters beginning July 1, 2011. Semesters offer TCSG students additional instructional time, more in-depth coverage of course content and should help ease the transfer to other colleges and universites, with no impact on tuition or students' state or federal financial aid. The TCSGsemester411.com website has all the information needed to learn about the conversion.
GA Education TV partners with the TCSG and OneGeorgia Authority to provide grants for local schools to use the U.S. Education TV platform. The requirements for this grant are that the school must be in an OneGeorgia Authority eligible county and must have an agreement with the local TCSG college to consult and provide support for this initiative.
