GET INVOLVED IN STUDENT ACTIVITIES
As part of our mission to prepare Georgia citizens for the workforce, TCSG encourages students to participate in the student organizations that are available in their respective technical college. Students who participate in these organizations gain the leadership skills that are essential for success in the workplace.
All organizations are not available in each technical college; therefore, interested students are encouraged to contact the Student Activities Coordinator at the technical college they would like to attend. Students interested in membership in one of the following five (5) major Student organizations can contact the State Advisor for the organization(s) they are interested in joining:
Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) - more info
National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) - more info
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) - more info
SkillsUSA - more info
Statewide Student Leadership Council - more info
DEX; PBL and SkillsUSA offer state and national competitions as opportunities for students to demonstrate and/or enhance their skills. Another bonus for getting involved in student activities is the opportunity to participate in the annual Georgia Fall Leadership Conference.
