Surgical Technology Clinical Adjunct Instructor

Under general supervision, will provide classroom and clinical instruction and supervision of Surgical Technology student in area health care facilities on day shift and in skills lab. Assist in presenting instruction, evaluate students’ progress. Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts; ensure safety and security requirements are met. Travel to multiple clinical sites in our 11 county service area will be required.
Certified Surgical Technologiest (CST – NBSTSA Certification) required with at least 3 years related work experience in the past 7 years. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level is preferred.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. All adjunct positions are part-time temporary, less than 27 hours per week, based on student enrollment each term, and do not include benefits or a promise of future full-time employment.
