POSITION: Occupational Therapy Assistant Adjunct Instructor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position

Adjunct faculty responsibilities are centered on instruction and evaluation of student written, verbal, and demonstrated practical skills performance in the classroom and program lab at the college’s Canton Campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Holds current OT national registration/license in state of Georgia -or-

· Holds current OTA national certification/license in state of Georgia

· Holds Bachelor’s degree or higher for OT,-or- Associate Degree for OTA

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and digital literacy skills

· At least one year experience as an OT/OTA and strong skills in principles of kinesiology including goniometry, manual muscle testing, standardized assessment, analysis of human movement, and the OTPF-4.

· Availability between the hours of 8AM and 5 PM on Thursdays

· Experience with Blackboard, WebEx, Microsoft Office Suite, and self-recording presentation material preferred

SALARY/BENEFITS: $4,000.00 per course, per semester. There are no State Benefits.
