This site has been established to keep local board members up-to-date on issues of importance to them. It is also a bulletin board where you can find forms, the latest newsletters and special “Alerts” to let you know what is coming up next.
The mission of the Technical College Directors’ Association of Georgia (TCDA) is to build the capability of the local boards of directors to effectively increase the real and perceived value of technical and adult education in Georgia.
TCDA INSIGHTS:
Members of the local board of directors of the 22 state-managed colleges are automatically members of TCDA. The association was formed in 1990 as a 501 (c) (3) educational non-profit organization to provide uniform training and development to the local board members. Contributions to the association are tax deductible.
The office of the TCDA Executive Director is responsible for providing workshops, newsletters, a yearly directory and a unifying link between the boards and the executive offices of the Technical College System of Georgia.
