Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Barbering Instructor position in the Barbering Department. This position is located on Atlanta Tech’s Main Campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.

Job Description:

The Adjunct Barbering Instructor provides instruction in the theory and practical applications of Barbering. Courses taught will include hair care, hair color, cutting and styling, etc. This position requires evaluation of student progress in attaining goals and objectives, the attendance of staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences, and ensure all safety and security requirements are met in trainings. Chosen candidate must have the ability to work flexible hours in the daytime and evenings.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a licensed Master Barber
  • At least 1 year of experience as a licensed barber instructor

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
