REQUEST OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS AND DIPLOMAS

The Georgia GED Testing Program issues duplicate official transcripts and diplomas for test-takers who took the GED test in Georgia. Official transcripts are $15 and diplomas are $15. Request Form.

Faxed or email requests are not accepted. If you did not test in Georgia, contact the state where you took the GED test.

Request by Mail – GED Test-Taker

  1. Complete a Request Form.
  2. Obtain a money order, cashier’s check or company check made payable to the Georgia GED Testing Program (Personal checks are NOT accepted).
  3. Mail the form and payment to Georgia GED Testing Program, 1800 Century Place N.E., Suite 300B, Atlanta, GA 30345.

Request In Person – GED Test-Taker

  1. Visit the Georgia GED Testing Program at 1800 Century Place N.E., Suite 300B, Atlanta, GA 30345 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Request by Mail – Other Persons/Organizations

  1. Obtain written documentation* from the GED test-taker.
  2. Complete a Request Form.
  3. Obtain a money order, cashier’s check or company check made payable to the Georgia GED Testing Program (Personal checks are NOT accepted).
  4. Mail the form, documentation and payment to Georgia GED Testing Program, 1800 Century Place N.E., Suite 300B, Atlanta, GA 30345.

*Documentation must include: test-taker name, test-taker date of birth, test-taker phone number, name of person/organization requesting documents, a statement granting permission to the person/organization to request official documents, and test-taker signature with date.
